What Makes My Physical Therapy Unique?

Physical therapy without a referral

Unlike many physical therapy practices, I do not require a doctor referral to get started as a patient. This means less wait time between injury and recovery – and a faster path to feeling better.

Weekend, evening & fast appointments available

I know you’re too busy to deal with pain or injury. That’s why I’m proud to offer weekend, evening and even next-day appointments for my NH patients.

Not the 2-3 x a week schedule you don’t need

Physical therapy visits based on what you need. One visit for assessment and education? This works great when you need some quick guidance after an injury. One time a week? With hour long appointments, we have time to assess, treat, and ensure you have a solid program for at home work. These means you need less time in clinic. One visit per month? When the home program is working, monthly appointments work for progressing your program toward your goals successfully.

Convenient, at-home physical therapy services

Tight schedule? No problem. In-home physical therapy in NH eliminates the hassle of a clinic visit, saving you valuable time. Appointments fit seamlessly between work and home commitments. I’ll come to you throughout Southern NH, from Temple, Mason and Wilton to Nashua, Merrimack, Milford and beyond.

On-site private appointments available in my Amherst, NH physical therapy office

Private one on one appointments are available at my office located at 3 Overlook Drive, Unit 2 in Amherst.

Roxanne is amazing! As someone with Ehlers Danlos I’ve often had repetitive use injuries . Roxanne sees things my body is doing in ways no other PT ever has allowing my to start building back strength.

Roxanne worked with me for 6 weeks after a hand injury to get full mobility back. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and personable and had new stretches and exercises each week to keep pushing the progress and recovery. I’d highly recommend her to anyone who needs PT!

Having injured one of my tendons I wanted to seek out a physical therapist so I could run pain free again. Roxanne has been wonderful over the 5 months I’ve been seeing her. She’s never judgmental, very knowledgeable, friendly, and strives to continue improving her practice. I’m happy to say after a few months I’m back to running pain free thanks to her help!

My experience with Roxann Meldrum, Physical Therapist of NH has been nothing but positive! If you’re looking for a out-going PT with a great personality, who focuses on one-on-one sessions, is in tune with what your needs are and goes above and beyond demonstrating and explaining each movement; she’s the person to see! I’ve gained better flexibility and more strength, with less pain. I highly recommend Roxanne for your overall PT needs 😀!!

Roxanne is awesome! The hour long 1 to 1 sessions work really great. The "homework" has been very helpful. I've have shoulder pain for years and within about a month, I'm pain free.

This was my first time seeing a physical therapist. I have nagging knee/toe issues from old sports injuries. Roxanne was able to help pin point the causes of those pains and worked with me over the course of about 3 months to build and execute a plan to get me feeling better. She is an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable, and makes the long road to recovery seem a little shorter. She has left me with a plethora of exercises to continue my rehab on my own and offered periodic check-ins to make sure everything is on track. I can and will highly recommend Roxanne's services to anybody dealing with any type of physical pain!

9 years ago I sprained my ankle badly, and didn't get any treatment for it. It took 4 years before I was completely pain-free. This time when I sprained the other ankle, I decided I wasn't willing to deal with it for that long. PT Health Academy was a great choice for my PT. Roxanne worked with me to evaluate the injury, developed a progressive plan of strengthening and stretching exercises, and guide me through the process over the course of 6 visits. I definitely feel that the 1-hour sessions were more productive than I would have seen in the 30-minute visits that you get with most PT providers, and her flexibility to schedule visits after working hours made it easy on my schedule. After 6 visits over the course of 2 months, I'm completely pain-free and have been able to resume normal activities. I also have a good list of exercises that will continue to strengthen the ankle and reduce the likelihood of further injury. I can't recommend PT Health Academy enough!

I have been working with Roxanne for over a year and have learned so much from her. She is extremely knowledgeable and tailors a plan to your specific needs, goals, abilities, equipment you may already have at home, etc. She listens to your concerns and honestly cares about her patients. I only wish I had her help 20 years ago so I could have learned how to move appropriately in daily life and sports to avoid issues down the road! My single best take-away though is that everyone should foam roller their back regularly!! Seriously, go watch her YouTube videos now and hopefully have a better, more pain free tomorrow!
